ecobee is a Canadian home automation company that makes smart thermostats, temperature and occupancy sensors and smart cameras. Founded in 2007, ecobee created the world’s first smart thermostat and is committed to transforming everyday life and making a sustainable difference.
Working within the creative team, I wrote social, email and digital copy for the launch of two new thermostats, a doorbell camera and ecobee Smart Security. I oversaw the copy direction and collaborated with UX, base communications, product and web teams and managed freelance copywriters.
Working with the the base communications team, I wrote launch and onboarding copy for two new ecobee smart thermostats.
Digital
Working with product marketing teams I created copy such as retail sell sheets, Amazon store copy and digital banner ads.
Social
Working with the design team and the social strategist, I wrote post and story copy for ecobee’s paid and organic social channels.
