Athabasca University

Athabasca is Canada’s oldest distance learning university, founded in 1970. Working with Craft&Crew, a digital design and strategy agency, I unified the tone of voice and structure of all copy across all faculties for both undergraduate and graduate programs. This included Business, Health Disciplines, Humanities and Social Sciences and Science and Tech faculties, as well as other pages such as the contact page and the Dean’s message page.

Using existing copy as well as creating new copy, I organized and wrote content for all faculties at Athabasca University. Using wireframes and a previously decided page structure, I communicated all the information potential and existing students may need for each faculty page.

Faculty of Business

Athabasca University’s Faculty of Business was the first online MBA in the world when it started in 1994 - material was mailed to students in a series of floppy disks! Today, it’s just one of many thriving programs. My task for all faculty pages was to arrange existing copy, write new content, and tell each faculty’s story to prospective and current students.
